BS Chemical Engineering Technology (4 Years)
Description:

BS Chemical Engineering Technology is a four-year undergraduate program that combines core principles of chemistry, physics, and engineering to prepare students for the design, operation, and maintenance of chemical processes and equipment. The program emphasizes practical skills, safety standards, and modern technological applications in industries such as petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, food processing, and environmental management. Students gain hands-on experience through laboratory work, industrial training, and project-based learning. Graduates are equipped to support engineers in optimizing production, ensuring quality control, and maintaining environmental compliance.

PEOs (Program Educational Objectives):
PEO Description
PEO-1 Graduates will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of chemical engineering principles and applications, including thermodynamics, mass and energy balances, reaction engineering, process control, and unit operations.
PEO-2 Graduates will proficiently apply engineering principles and simulation tools to design, analyze, and optimize chemical processes and systems, ensuring efficiency, sustainability, safety, environmental responsibility, and economic feasibility.
PEO-3 Graduates will communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, demonstrating leadership when required.
PEO-4 Graduates will uphold professional and ethical standards, considering integrity, accountability, safety, and the societal, environmental, and economic implications of their work, and developing sustainable and innovative solutions.
