There exists an urgent demand for proficient radiology technologists not only in the DGK region but across Pakistan. The BS Radiology and Imaging Technology program stands as a pioneering initiative, uniquely positioned to fulfill this demand. This program emerges at a pivotal time, coinciding with the expansion, evolution, and heightened public recognition of the field. The curriculum of the BS RIT program is meticulously crafted to imbue healthcare professionals with a comprehensive skill set essential for their roles and beyond. PEO Description
PEO-1 To acquire abilities that align with contemporary problem-solving analysis.
PEO-2 To produce graduates who are well-versed in medical imaging and radiology and are prepared to excel in the healthcare sector, academic institutions, and research groups.
PEO-3 To instill in graduates a strong desire to serve in interdisciplinary teams comprised of members with a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.

PLOs (Program Learning Outcomes):
PLO Description
PLO-1 Graduates will have a competitive set of Radiology knowledge concerning the fundamentals in the main areas of the discipline.
PLO-2 Graduates will be able to solve problems competently by identifying the essential parts of the problem and planning a strategy for solving it. They will estimate rationally the solution, apply appropriate radiological techniques, verify correctness, and interpret results.
PLO-3 Graduates will be able to use computers for data acquisition and processing, and utilize software tools for data analysis and image formation.
PLO-4 Graduates will be able to use modern library search tools to locate and retrieve scientific information relevant to radiological investigations.
PLO-5 Graduates will understand the objective of their radiological examinations, perform procedures properly, and accurately record and analyze the results.
PLO-6 Graduates will be able to use standard clinical setups along with modern and classical techniques for hands-on practical training.
PLO-7 Graduates will know and adhere to proper procedures and regulations for the safe handling and use of clinical practice tools.
PLO-8 Graduates will be able to effectively communicate clinical concepts and examination results through writing and oral communication.
